College Station Texas
Duties: Performing the “Core Four”: Eye contact, Smiling, Speaking Enthusiastically, and Staying Connected with every guest.
Pet Care Associate
College Station Texas
Animal Care Associates are responsible for daily husbandry and care of all animals that live in the store. I also assisted current and future pet parents with questions and guiding them to the right answer/product. The most important duty is to communicate clearly in order for the customer to be knowledgeable about caring for an animal they've never had experience caring for.
New York University
New York City
During my time at NYU I advanced my proficiency in Spanish and experienced with pedagogical practices. For a semester, I observed multiple classes, grades, and schools in varying parts of the city. From this, I was able to carry with me knowledge of engagement and pedagogy for K-12 learning.
2016 - 2017
Blinn college provided me with the skills of true college preparedness. I formed relationships with professors that have supported me throughout my college career and taught me invaluable lessons about life both in and out of the academic sphere.
Texas A&M University
College Station, Texas
Texas A&M instilled in me its core values: excellence, leadership, loyalty, respect, and selfless service. I gained so much more than my Bachelor's degree here. I became president of the German club, received a certificate of professional writing, studied abroad in Bonn, Germany, and found my calling into the field of rhetorical analysis. I want to continue studying rhetoric. My goal is to share it with others in order to facilitate an environment where we seek differences, appreciate each other, and learn to use rhetoric as a form of understanding and practicing empathy.
